Baptisms and Visits

Lot's of baptisms are happening in the mission and here is one that took place in Alcala on Saturday. Elders Taylor and Redd are doing a great job there. They have another baptism today! Way to help us reach our goals Elders.
The Zone Leaders of the Elche Zone, Elder Kusseling and LeBaron are being great examples to their zone with a baptism in Murcia. We love the color white!
Mmmm, what's been cooking in the kitchen this week?
Since we couldn't shop for food on Monday as it was a holiday, my wonderful daughter-in-law suggested scones. They worked out great and the Zone Leaders at Consillio loved them.
The Malaga Zone surprised us with a sweet thank-you book for having them over for Thanksgiving. Elders Romney and Sanchez headed up the little project. We love it, thanks Elders and Hermanas of the Malaga Zone.

It's time for business and the ayudantes Elder Solari and Elder Brian did their presentation at the Zone Leader Counsel. We had a great consillio with alot of things learned and exchanged. The mission is doing great!
We love singing the mission song. It is definitely a favorite.
We have our own reflecting pond. What a great looking group.
I can't believe that I am the shortest! Well only in height, not in spirit, right?
We spent a little bit of time in between missionary work showing our son Garrett and his wife a little bit of the sites of the mission. Antequera is a favorite of ours.
We had a great day on Gibraltar. The mountains you see behind us is Africa!
If Garrett looks a little apprehensive it's because this monkey (really an ape) had hit him wanting what he might have in his pocket. Those pesky little creatures. Yes, they are real and no, they are not trained, they are wild on Gibraltar.
We said good-bye and sent them on their way by train to Madrid. It was great having them here for a few days.
Pres. Clegg and Elder Clegg had a coordinating counsel in Sevilla on Saturday and afterwards we ran over to the Plaza de Espana. This is a great place to visit. All around the plaza they have tile mosaic's of all the counties of Spain. Here Elder and Hna Clegg are in front of the one for Ciudad Real where they are serving. They love it up there. Couples, we need you!!
We had to sit in front of the Malaga one since that is the name of the mission. It was a beautiful late afternoon with mild fall weather.
Just a parting picture of a beautiful place.
Sunday we were in Jaen with Elders Beck and Stoner. They baptized on Friday Lydia and she was confirmed today. We enjoyed so much our time with the members of the Jaen Branch.
On the way out we had to take pictures of some unique roundabouts made out of road signs.
This is definitely the most unique one we have ever seen. The week went great and we returned home to prepare for the week to come.
